Biography
Dr. Luis Velazco-Dávila is a board-certified thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, specializing in advanced cardiac surgical care. He is dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality treatment to patients with complex heart conditions.
Dr. Velazco-Dávila completed his General Surgery Residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis, followed by a Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, he served as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Division at the University of Oklahoma.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Association for Academic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
