Dr.Nystrom came prepared with images of a tumor that invaded my leg. He is kind, clear, patient and compassionate as he shares scary information. And he laughs at my sons' jokes. His skill, knowledge, and manner bring a sense of trustworthy guidance to conversations about a life altering/threatening disease and the path forward. We are thankful for him and the team working with him.

Dr. Nystrom has been phenomenal from my first consult through my surgery and follow up care. I had a revision in November that didn't alleviate my pain and made it difficult to walk with my prosthetic. Dr. Nystrom listened carefully, reviewed all imaging, and felt like he could help. Even up to the day before surgery I wasn't sure I was making the right decision. But, my surgery could NOT have been more successful. I've had NO pain, healing has been beautiful, and I am getting my prosthetic six weeks earlier than my revision back in November.

Dr. Nystrom included me in making a decision as to whether to come back in in a year or just call if I had any problems or concerns. I appreciated the fact that I could make that decision.

My visit resulted in leaving with an answer about my condition that multiple providers outside of CC failed to give me. I appreciated the empathy shown for my experience, the willingness to listen as I explained the entire quest for an explanation, the hands on examination (too many healthcare professionals are skipping this step) and the interest in leading me to the next logical step. In addition, there was an intern during my visit that showed the same promise.
