Biography
Lynn Woo, MD, is Staff in the Cleveland Clinics Center for Pediatric Urology, where she serves as center director. She is part of the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital and holds the title of Associate Professor of Urology at the Case-Lerner College of Medicine.
Dr. Woo completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry at the University of Iowa, and earned her medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. She completed her urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic and went on to Monroe Carroll Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University for fellowship training in pediatric urology.
Dr. Woo is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds memberships in the American Board of Urology, the Societies for Pediatric Urology, Society of Fetal Urology, and Society of Academic Urologists. She serves as a section editor for Frontiers in Pediatrics and as a reviewer for several urology journals.
Dr. Woo was the recipient of the AUA NCS John D. Silbar award in 2008, the SPU Research Grant Award in 2009, and the Martin L. Resnick Excellence in Teaching Award in 2023. She has consistently been named in the list of Best Doctors by Cleveland Magazine since 2017.
Her specialty interests include genital and urinary tract reconstruction with a special focus complex congenital conditions including hypospadias, ambiguous genitalia, myelomeningocele, Eagle-Barrett syndrome, and posterior urethral valves. Dr. Woo is involved in several multidisciplinary centers of excellence through the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital including dedicated specialty clinics for pediatric patients with spina bifida, spinal cord injury, colorectal pelvic reconstruction, congenital obstructive uropathy, and disorders of sexual development. She is passionate about providing compassionate and empathic care to all her patients from newborns to young adults.

Dr. Woo is hands down the most incredible doctor and human being. She places an immense level of care and detail to her patients. I received the best care under her and because of her a scary time was put at ease. I appreciate her more than words could say.

Dr.Woo is amazing! She remembers my family that came to support our son during and after his surgery. She also makes it feel like you're her only patient with how much she knows right off the bat even though she has tons of patience! We have never had to wait super long or feel like she's rushing through a visit

Dr. Woo was phenomenal. She took all of my son's questions and concerns seriously and did not brush anything off. She made him feel validated in what he was feeling and made a plan that we all agreed on. She was great!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Woo. She was great with my son, personable, kind, knowledgeable, and very informative. She was conservative in care while still doing what was best for my son. As a nurse, I was blown away by how amazing Dr. Woo is!!
