Professional Highlights
Dr. DeLacure was Chairman of the Division of Head & Neck Surgery and Oncology and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute from 1995-1998. He then joined the faculty of the NYU (New York University) as Chief of the Division of Head & Neck Surgery, through 2019. He was jointly appointed in the Departments of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, and the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery (later the Hansjorg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery) and was granted the George Hall Endowed Chair in Head & Neck Surgery in 2017. He joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2023.
He has performed surgery, primarily in the Mission context, and/or as invited instructor, including complex reconstructive microsurgery cases, all over the world, including India, Kenya, Viet Nam, Haiti and Mongolia. Where will he go next ?
Dr. DeLacure has participated in the mentoring and training of dozens of residents and fellows in all of the above surgical specialties, as well as Residents and Fellows in Orthopaedics (complex approaches to the cervical spine) over a nearly 30-year career. Many have gone on to leadership and prominent positions all over the world, and in hospitals and cancer centers throughout much of New York City.

Dr. DeLacure is very professional. He allowed time for me to ask questions and responded with information I could understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone who might need reconstructive plastic surgery.
