Biography
Martin N. Wiseman, MD, FRCP, is a staff physician in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute, practicing at the Hillcrest Medical Building and Hillcrest Hospital. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and his specialty interest is electrophysiology.
Dr. Wiseman is a graduate of the Medical School of St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, U.K. He completed his internship and residencies at St. Bartholomew's Hospital and several other hospitals in the UK, including a research degree in cardiology at St. Bartholomew's. He completed his subspecialty training with a fellowship in electrophysiology at The Philadelphia Heart Institute, Philadelphia, Pa.
Following completion of his fellowship, Dr. Wiseman was appointed to the medical staff at The Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland where he practiced until 1997. He subsequently joined the medical staff of University Hospitals of Cleveland as a staff electrophysiologist.
Since 2000 Dr. Wiseman has been a partner in Cardiovascular Associates of Cleveland, the position he held until his appointment to the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2011. From 1991 through 2004 he was an associate professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Wiseman is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, a member and past Secretary of the North East Ohio Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

Dr.Wiseman is an excellent doctor. He has wonderful bedside manner and describes in layman terms what is needed. I thoroughly trust him in handling my heart health. He is the Best Physician's I have ever had.

Dr. Wiseman has a wonderful bedside manner as well as discussing and addressing any clinical issues. He does not rush the appointment and he treats the patient as a person not just an appointment. Beyond his considerable skill he is the gold standard for how he treats patients.

I would highly recommend Cleveland Clinic and especially Dr. Wiseman . He listens to all my concerns and answers al my questions. When discussing alternate treatments for my condition he provided the pros and cons of each treatment and together we decided on the best plan. The outcome was very successful and I am very pleased.

Dr. In Toledo told me I had to live with my heart problems! Called Cleveland Clinic to get 2nd opinion and got a appointment 2 days later!!! Dr. Wiseman has me fixed so far!!! Very Very Happy!!!
