Dr took time to review my chart regarding the possibility of starting hrt. I was disappointed that I am possibly not the best candidate. However, starting progesterone pills is when I ran into issues as I am allergic to the inactive ingredient.

Dr. LaPlante was Amazing, she has so much compassion and knowledge that it made the process very bearable

I have been seeing this provider for years and until now I would have given her a 5 across the board, but at this visit, I mentioned having done some research on HRT and her demeanor changed. I discussed this in relation to ongoing issues that started years ago but she did not seem interested in discussing it at all. She was completely dismissive of the idea yet offered no evidence or other options other than essentially, it is what it is. I have recommended her multiple times over the years, but for anyone asking about me for recommendations for menopause care, I will likely not be recommending this provider again.

Dr. LaPlante''s competence, intelligence and genuine care should be Industry standard.

If every Cleveland Clinic office was like the one on Transportation and every doctor as smart and competent as Dr. Mary LaPlante there would be world peace.

My doctor was wonderful and courteous. Went over the procedure before starting it. She made sure I was comfortable. Very patient with me.

I had seen Dr. Laplante give a talk about menopause at Medina Library. I had a good impression of her, but I didn''t really want to drive a long way to see a doctor. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to see her specifically. I am so glad I did! I have never felt so listened to by a doctor before! She really took the time to get to know me and understand my concerns. She explained everything clearly and was helpful in answering questions. She reviewed different possible approaches. I highly recommend her!

I was really nervous for this appointment because I have not been in a very long time! The Dr. Was amazing and made me feel very comfortable. I was very happy with everything!

I have seen Dr. Laplante for several years and this was the first visit where I feel that she really didn't care about me or my concerns. She was looking at the computer the entire time and when I brought up something she just brushed over it. I see her once a year and was very disappointed in my visit.
