I appreciate the fact that a member of Dr. Velez''s team touches base with me to ask medical questions, i.e. Medications, blood pressure and heart rate readings for the file so that Dr. Velez has an indication before the video conference.

Dr. Velez and my care team are excellent, I always feel well taken care of. In addition, if I have concerns or questions, have to order refills, I text via app and usually get an answer overnight.

Velez has been with me since the beginning and everything bad that could happen has happened and everything good and great that''s happening he''s been apart of. Since my transplant I''ve spent less time in the hospital. More time with my family. Living breathing and not scared of dying because of the condition or disease itself. He listens. During my visits he doesn''t rush. He gives me the time and space to ask and answer any questions because he knows that I may have a few and I''m young so I may still be scared. But overall hands down Velez was a blessing that walked in my life with a licenses to practice. and I don''t regret as a patient letting him do so on me. If I had to go through it again I''d hope Velez was standing at the beginning of my journey waiting with his hands out, asking are you ready? Because we got this. Best Doctor Hands Down.
