Meghann Lee McCarthy, DO, is a physician in the Section of Vascular Medicine in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. She sees patients at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Education: Dr. McCarthy earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine – Seton Hill, Erie, Pa. She served her internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in vascular medicine at Cleveland Clinic. She joined the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2018 following completion of her fellowship.
Experience: Dr. McCarthy is experienced in performing and interpreting vascular studies to diagnose diseases that may affect blood flow in the arteries and veins throughout the body. The Section of Vascular Medicine is home to one of the most active vascular laboratories in the United States, with more than 2,200 of these studies performed each month.

The doctor is outstanding. She is an excellent clinician and she does a wonderful job explaining the treatment, getting consent and explaining post procedure care. She has a wonderful bed side manner and she's incredibly personable and engaging. She is warm and has a delightful personality. She is very good at what she does and is quite proficient at her job. It was a very positive experience.
