Biography
She received her BS from the college of Human Ecology at Cornell University. She earned her medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Katz then went on to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic. She is also credentialed by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine to perform gynecologic and early obstetric ultrasounds. She is a board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
During Dr. Katz’s training, she received awards in the subspecialties of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Family Planning, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and medical student education. She continues to receive recognition in education by the Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine.
Dr. Katz provides gynecologic care throughout a lifetime, serving as a referral for pediatric and adolescent gynecology, gynecologic ultrasound and surgical management of gynecologic problems. She also provides routine preventive care, obstetrics care and mid-life women’s healthcare. In her practice, she strives to make patients feel heard and comfortable during some of their most vulnerable times. Dr. Katz also is dedicated to evidence-based medicine and shared decision making within the physician-patient team.
Dr. Katz plans to expand her roles in resident education and leadership. Dr. Katz lives in Westlake, Ohio and practices in North Olmsted, Cleveland and Strongsville.

This was our first visit. Dr Katz was Amazing! Her concern and compassion for the situation was evident from the start. She was knowledgeable and diagnosed the situation right away. She showed empathy and gentleness while listening to all of our concerns and not dismissing us like we have had happen In the past. She truly has a heart and is an incredible physician!

I felt very informed and well taken care of during my pregnancy. Dr. Katz took the time to answer my questions and never rushed me through them. She followed my birth plan and explained any risks/benefits/alternatives as necessary. She stuck to my plan as best she could while keeping my safety and my baby's safety in mind. She is very personable and honest when delivering care.
