Biography

Dr. Bourgeois received his osteopathic medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. During medical school he was exposed to osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and developed an affinity for the treatment method. He continued to develop his skill during his Internal Medicine residency in Fayetteville, NC before coming to South Pointe Hospital for additional training specifically in OMT. He is an avid student of the osteopathic philosophy to healing across the entire spectrum of health and disease and works to integrate conventional medical thinking with the osteopathic approach.

Dr. Bourgeois is amazing with his techniques for OMT. He had a student with him and listening to him explain everything he was doing and describing my condition made me aware what an excellent doctor he is. He listened and explained, He has really helped me with my back pain, TMJ, shoulder pain. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bougoise is very courteous. He is knowledgeable and takes care of my ongoing issues. If he has an intern or something with him, they have been very attentive and knowledgeable as well. No complaints.

As I said, Dr. Bougoise si good at what he does. Always takes good care of me. Getting an appointment with him is not good but that is hospital''s fault. More excellent providers need to be hired.

The only reason I would not recommend Dr. B is due to the lack of availability he has. I am not sure how I can assess if this treatment is working because the visits are so far apart.
