Biography
Michael Kolczun, II, MD, is a total joint and sports surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Lorain, Kolczun and Kolczun Orthopaedics. He joined the staff at the Cleveland Clinic in 1999 and has been practicing in the Lorain community since 1973 when he and his father formed Kolczun and Kolczun Orthopaedics. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Lorain County Medical Society, Ohio State Medical Association and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Kolczun is a frequent lecturer and is the author of “A Coach’s Desk Reference to Athlete’s Injuries,” a reference for area coaches.

Dr. Kolczun is superb. He listens, explains options to fix health issues in detail, truly shows concerns that a patient has & is determined to find the cause of an individual''s health problems and the right cure. He''s the best at listening and explaining.

Good time spent with Dr. Kohlzun, listened well to my concerns and issues, and I was surprised and pleased with his recommendations, that I did not need any follow up care at this time, but should call if any issues happened.

I am 76 years young and I have had numerous visits with Dr. Kolzcun over the years. Dr. Kolzcun has always exhibited a bedside manner that is second to none. You can just feel the sincerity and warmth when he talks with you. You never feel like you are just another patient. He explains things thoroughly and he listens intently to any questions you may have about your condition. They just don''t make them like him anymore. Thanks for the care you provided for me Dr. Kolzcun.

Dr. Kolczun was knowledgeable, efficient and informative. He guided me as to where I could get equipment to help me when wanting to kneel on my knees so I could play with my grandson and do household chores that required kneeling to get accomplished and do gardening.

Dr. Kolczun was very thorough, patient, and kind. He listened and formed an approach to help me. I can tell he's very knowledgeable and experienced and analyzes the issue to formulate the best course of action. He even took my crutches and adjusted them himself. I was very appreciative of that and impressed at how hands on he is. He is awesome and I am so glad I'm in his care.
