Biography
Miralem Pasic, MD, PhD, is a Staff Surgeon in the Department of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery in the Cleveland Clinic and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. I am a European board-certified general, vascular, and cardiothoracic surgeon.
Specialty Interests: Adult cardiac surgery, valve repair or replacement, surgery for thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection, coronary artery bypass, minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB, cardiac surgery for Marfan’s and other connective tissue disorders, cardiac tumors, endocarditis.
Experience and Outcomes: Cleveland Clinic performs more than 5,000 heart surgeries each year. All Cleveland Clinic cardiac surgeons complete between 300-400 cardiac cases per year.
