Dr. Monica Brown, originally from Northern California, began her academic journey at the University of Southern California, where she majored in psychology. Her passion for understanding the human mind and behavior eventually led her to pursue a medical degree at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Following medical school, she completed her residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center, solidifying her dedication to patient care and medicine.
For the past decade, Dr. Brown has focused her career on senior care and Medicare-age patients. She has built a fulfilling career advocating for her patients and addressing complex medical issues. She values the deep relationships she forms with her patients, taking time to listen and help them navigate the often-challenging healthcare system. Dr. Brown’s Concierge Medicine philosophy emphasizes making her patients feel as though they have a doctor in the family, enhancing quality of life rather than simply prolonging it.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Brown enjoys a wide range of activities. Whether swimming, skiing, or camping, she loves spending time outdoors. Dr. Brown is exceedingly pleasant, welcoming, and never seems rushed. She carefully goes over and shares all relevant information on my chart, lab results, medications, existing conditions, future plans and procedures, and appointments with specialists. She also provides guidance on ways to improve and maintain.general health. She is certainly a most excellent addition to the staff at the Cleveland Clinic.
