Monica Svets, MD, is an Associate Staff Member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus. Her specialty interests include general obstetrics, pediatric/adolescent gynecology, abnormal pap smears and colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy.
Dr. Svets earned her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She completed an internship and a residency at MetroHealth Medical Center through Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Women’s Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr Svets is the epitome of great doctor. I have never felt so 'seen' by a physician before seeing her. She is attentive to all of my ridiculous questions, she is patient, she is extremely knowledgeable, and she has a special ability to make you feel at ease. Which is difficult to do when youre pregnant!

Monica Svets is absolutely wonderful. I honestly have never met a doctor that I have liked more than her. She is so genuinely kind. She always is able to answer any questions I have with such great detail and care. I am so thankful to have her as my provider, especially during pregnancy! I refer every woman I know to her and her practice. I could literally write a novel here about how wonderful she is.

Monica is absolutely amazing! She makes you feel like family. She greets you with a warm hug and listens to all of health concerns. She explains everything thoroughly and asks if you have any questions. I have Never been disappointed by her care in over 20 years of seeing her. I have recommended her to others and always will! She is a tremendous attribute to Cleveland Clinic!!
