Biography
Peter A. Rasmussen, MD, is a staff neurosurgeon in the Cerebrovascular Center, Chief Clinical Officer for The Clinic by Cleveland Clinic, and a Professor of Neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Rasmussen received his BS in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1987. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1991.
In addition, Dr. Rasmussen is a past-President of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery where he played a leading role on the national stage in continuing society initiatives to resource, train and support veteran and new practitioners in an area of medicine that is transforming treatment approaches to neurovascular conditions.

I had another consult with a different cerebral vascular neurosurgeon at another institution and so grateful I proceeded with a subsequent consult with Dr Rasmussen as he saw my imaging differently and had a different recommendation to manage. Again grateful.

This appointment was scheduled way ahead of time due to of when my procedure was scheduled with schedule follow up at that time. Doc Rasmussen and his staff are always very helpful and never leave us hanging always there for us when needed no matter of questions/services.

Dr Rasmussen is a professional with his work. He treats me and my wife with full respect and l Lessons to all questions and or concerns. As far as I concern, he's the best. He saved myLife and continues to over see and keep a good eye out for me. He had found another Aneurysm this early Jan. And we have already had procedure completed. This visit was for that follow up. He's a great doc,, person, man. I enjoy him.

I had this Dr. For my open head surgery in December and could not feel better about a Dr. He made me feel like I was in the best care and took such good care of me and I would never let another Dr. Treat me should I need the surgery for the other side aneurysm. My entire family felt that I was in the very best care and this Dr. Prooved it with my outcome! It really helped when going through such a scary thing and I am forever grateful for him.
