Dr. Novick took time and was especially attentive to my concerns about the difference between no family history of... and family history unknown, as these are NOT the same thing. (Although other providers have documented the former all over my chart, even though I never say that.) She also suggested that I could consider genetic testing in order to have some answers. I can't believe that NO ONE has ever suggested this to me before. I am extremely grateful to her for this.
