Biography
Ravisankar Reddy Bolla, MD, is a cardiologist in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He sees patients in his office at Westside Cardiology in Fairview Park and at Lutheran Hospital, Cleveland.

Education and Training: Dr. Bolla earned his medical degree from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. After completing an internship at Government General Hospital in Guntur, he served for two years as a medical officer with the Ministry of Health in Jamaica, West Indies. After relocating to the United States, Dr. Bolla completed a residency at Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, also at Wright State. Dr. Bolla has been in practice since 1992 and joined the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2016.
About Dr. Bolla: “I enjoy interventional cardiology for the challenges it presents. Cardiology is the most interesting of all fields, and I find it gratifying and fulfilling when I can make a positive impact on a patient’s life.”
Leisure Activities: In warm weather Dr. Bolla often can be found cheering on the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field or taking on the challenges of golf. Year-round, he enjoys cooking.

Dr.Bolla greeted me and began asking me questions pertainingto the reason for my visit, my health and my medical history.Dr.Bolla is very polite, friendly but serious.I could tell he was caringby the questions he asked,how he took time to explain things, what the care plan would be, the tests he would order, and what these tests would involve. I didn't need to ask many questions because Dr.Bolla asks the right questions, explains everything, and is very thorough.

Nurse was very friendly and efficient taking care of preliminary info needs. Dr. Bolla listened to every concern I had and was understanding to an elder's reasoning in future needs.
