Biography
Becky Thompson, CNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner rejoining the Urology department. A Lakewood, Ohio native, Becky earned her first bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University. She later completed her nursing diploma through Cleveland Clinic’s Huron School of Nursing, earned a second bachelor’s degree in Nursing through Ohio University’s online program, and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
Becky began her urology career in 2011 in the outpatient procedures area at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus as a RN and has been with Cleveland Clinic for more than 18 years. Her first Nurse Practitioner role took her to Las Vegas, where she worked at the Cleveland Clinic Urology location. In addition to her urology experience, she has also worked in occupational/employee health and GU medical oncology. She is passionate about women’s urologic health and providing compassionate, patient-centered care. However, Becky also treats general urologic conditions, including BPH, kidney stones and prostate and bladder cancer screening.
Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband, Jarrod, and their two children, Jordan and Maddie. When she is not attending her son’s numerous sporting events or her daughter’s dance and swim classes, she enjoys being outdoors and traveling with her family.

Every visit I have had at Cleveland Clinic has been great. My visit with Rebecca was also. She and Dr Gupta have taken very good care of me.
