Biography
Renee Hirsbrunner, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery who practices general orthopaedics with a specialization in hip and knee replacement. She has several years of clinical experience providing comprehensive care for patients undergoing joint replacement, supporting them through every phase of treatment-from preoperative evaluation to postoperative recovery.
Renee began her career at Cleveland Clinic in 2019 as an Athletic Trainer, where she developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. During her time in this role, she chose to pursue advanced clinical training to expand her scope of practice and impact on patient care, leading her to complete a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Florida. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of South Florida and a Master's of Science in Sports Management from Florida State University.
In her current role, Renee works collaboratively with orthopaedic surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams and is involved in all phases of care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative management. Her background in athletic training enhances her approach to surgical recovery, functional restoration, and patient education.
