Biography:
Robbi Kempner, MD, FACS, transitioned to Florida in 2019 from the New York City area, where she previously served as Medical Director of the Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
Dr. Kempner graduated from New York Medical College and completed her General Surgery residencies at St. Vincent's Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. Though out her career, she has led breast cancer teams and held academic appointments as an assistant professor of surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and New York Presbyterian-Cornell Health System.
Presently, Dr. Kempner is a member of the breast surgery division at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Her practice emphasizes patient-centered care, employing a multidisciplinary approach to advanced breast cancer management for both male and female patients, and treating benign and malignant disease. She draws upon her extensive experience in advanced oncological breast surgery and clinical research in treating every patient as an individual. Additionally, as a graduate of the Intensive Course in Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment at City of Hope Hospital in Los Angeles, Dr. Kempner possesses specialized expertise in genetic risk assessment. Dr. Kempner advocates for delivering the highest standards of breast health by integrating prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship, while guiding patients to understand the multidisciplinary nature of their care.
