Biography
I have many years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. I am trained in the evaluation and treatment of bradycardia or slow heart rhythms, including implantation of various cardiac devices such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD). I am trained and have extensive experience with more advanced management of implantable cardiac devices, including extraction (removal) of such devices. I am also trained in the evaluation and treatment of tachycardia or rapid heart rhythms, such as supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) and ventricular tachycardia (VT). Treatment of such heart rhythm disorders can include medications or a procedure, catheter ablation. I have particular interest and training in management and catheter ablation of more advanced, complex heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation, with nearly 20 years of experience.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy hiking, running, biking and other forms of exercise for fitness. I am proud to be a physician in the area near my hometown, and I particularly enjoy the privilege of providing care to people with heart rhythm problems.
