My experience with the doctor was very positive! This is the first neurosurgeon I have met with in regards to my Chiari malformation, that I feel like actually listens to me and explained things to me in a respectful, kind manner. The appointment was very validating for me. Thank you Dr. Vorster!

It took a few months to get in to see the doctor due to availability, but it is understandable due to demand

This provider, Dr. Vorster and his assistant were very knowledgeable , professional, yet down to earth with interactions and discussions regarding the care and plan of action for my father (patient) . It is very much appreciated to our family. Thank you so much. Perhaps more providers can be like this especially with elderly patients and their caregivers/family. Dr. Vorster always spends time with me explaining the MRI showing me pictures of the MRI and answering any questions I may have he always makes me feel very special and that his time isn't limited with me he is the best I've had him now for 7 years and would never change using him again he's the best

Dr. Vorster was great! He listened to my lengthy medical history and ask questions about my symptoms. He showed Interest and sympathy regarding my symptoms. He throughly explained my condition my different ways to help me understand what was happening including drawing it out and reviewing the MRI in-depth with me. Him and Merritt were quick to get me scheduled for a procedure which I appreciate! Merritt N was my nurse/ nurse practitioner and she was in the room during my exam. She was extremely helpful explaining what was going on in my body. She showed empathy and sympathy to my symptoms and took time to answer our questions. She also was very thorough with pre procedure questions/explaining and making sure I understood and was confortable with everything.

Too long of a wait to see Dr. Vorster.

Recommending Dr. Vorster would depend on the wait period to see him. Six months is too long.

Dr. Vorster is PHENOMENAL!!! He was kind, compassionate, patient, and informative. He made me feel like I was the ONLY patient he was seeing this day. I also enjoyed his approachable demeanor, and quick and soft sense of human. HE WAS HUMANISTIC AND CARING! My words cannot adequately express my gratitude and appreciation. Top notch. I think he's the best of the best.

I realize Dr. Vorster is in high demand, but it took awhile to gain an appointment, and my original appointment was moved back. In total, six months passed before I could gain an audience with him.
