Biography
Scott A. Francy, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Department of Pediatrics at the Avon Pointe Medical Outpatient Center in Avon, Ohio. He is board-certified in Pediatrics. In addition to general pediatric care, his clinical interests include orthopedics / sports medicine and caring for patients with asthma and allergies. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University and completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Pediatrics Department. He serves on the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Clinical Documentation Workgroup, is an onboarding lead for new Cleveland Clinic pediatricians, and is a member of the General Pediatric Leadership Team. In the past, he has served as Pediatric Ward Teaching Attending, chief resident, and associate director of the pediatric residency program. He has previously served on the Lorain Family Health Center Executive Team, Childrens Hospital Satisfaction Team, Physician-Nurse Partnership Committee, Child Protection Committee, and several additional steering groups.

Dr Francy is great! He was fantastic with our toddler, making him laugh and feel at ease. He was very thorough and reassuring throughout the appointment, took time to make sure we were comfortable with the plan, easy to reach for a follow up question, and connected with our normal pediatrician to make sure our son had the best care. Thank you!!
