Biography

Scott Lundy, MD, PhD, is a fellowship-trained urologist with a focus in male infertility and sexual medicine. He was born in Colorado and attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering, where he published his work on peripheral nerve tissue engineering. He then completed a combined NIH-funded MD/PhD (MSTP) program at the University of Washington, where his doctoral thesis focused on the areas of stem cell biology and cardiac regeneration and was nominated for the Graduate School Medal for his work. 

Dr. Lundy then completed a six year urology residency and one year male infertility and microsurgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, winning the prestigious George and Grace Crile Fellowship as a senior resident.

Dr. Lundy is currently a surgeon-scientist within the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute. He is also a high complexity lab director (HCLD) and currently the Director of the Clinical Andrology Lab at Cleveland Clinic.

He has an active basic science research lab which focuses on reproductive stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, varicocele pathophysiology, and the genitourinary microbiome. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts, has several patents and book chapters, and was named an AUA Urology Care Foundation Research Scholar in 2021. 

Dr. Lundy’s primary clinical interests include male infertility, varicocele, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, and surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction.

In his free time, Dr. Lundy is an avid photographer and enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

    After speaking to the doctor's assistant and the doctor himself I knew I made the right decision to move forward with the surgery. They both took the time to answer all of the questions my parents and I without us feeling rushed to make a decision.
