Biography
Dr Tulisiak is a Family Physician, board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been in practice in Brunswick, Ohio and Medina, Ohio since 1983.
Dr Tulisiak is a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame earning his Bachelors of Science in Pre-Professional Studies in 1977. After graduating from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in 1980, he then completed his Family Medicine Residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Prior to returning to full-time clinical family medicine, Dr. Tulisiak was the President of Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital. He has also been Vice President of Medical Operations at Medina Hospital and Medical Director of Cleveland Clinic Brunswick Family Health Center.
He has been on the medical staff at Medina Hospital since his appointment in 1983 and has served in various leadership positions at Medina Hospital. These positions include: Department of Medicine Chair, Department of Pediatric Chair, Credentialing Committee Chair, Quality Committee Chair and the Ethics Committee Chair.
Dr. Tulisiak is an active preceptor of medical students and residents having a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
Dr Tulisiak’s treatment interests in family medicine include: primary care of all ages, cardiovascular diseases and office based procedures.
