Dr. Vicente Coelho is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spinal tumors.
Originally from Fortaleza, Brazil, he graduated Magna cum Laude in medicine from the Federal University of Ceara at the age of 23. He went on to complete his neurosurgical residency at the renowned Clinics Hospital of Ribeirao Preto, University of Sao Paulo - the top-ranked university in Latin America - where he also earned a PhD in Surgery.
Dr. Coelho further advanced his training through highly competitive, CAST-accredited spine surgery fellowships at Rush University Medical Center and The Ohio State University, both nationally recognized leaders in neurosurgical innovation.
His practice focuses on degenerative spine conditions as well as brain and spine tumors, combining advanced surgical techniques with a patient-centered approach to care."

Dr. Coelho listened to my concerns very attentively as considering Back Surgery isn't something I anticipated but I really have no other choice. He gave me an honest 2nd Opinion which is why I wanted to see him specifically. He was recommended to me and I'm glad I made the appointment to see him.
