Biography
Wadie Shabab, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician and physician leader at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. He serves as Vice Chair of Ambulatory Operations and Access for the Children’s Institute, Executive Vice Chair of Primary Care Pediatrics, and Medical Director of the R Building. In these roles, Dr. Shabab is dedicated to expanding timely access to exceptional pediatric care close to home, enhancing the patient and caregiver experience, and advancing high-quality, innovative care across the health system.
Dr. Shabab provides primary care for infants, children, and adolescents, with a focus on preventive medicine, routine wellness visits, and the treatment of common pediatric conditions. He is committed to partnering with families to promote health, prevent illness, and support each child’s growth and development through compassionate, relationship-centered care.
In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Shabab is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, where he teaches and mentors future physicians. He has been recognized for excellence in patient care and medical education, including honors such as Best Doctors in America, Top Doctors in America, and Outstanding Faculty Preceptor.
