Biography
Dr. Bingaman attended undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University and graduated from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Pa. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and completed fellowship training in spinal neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic and joined the faculty of Cleveland Clinic in 1997.
He has authored more than 150 scientific papers and book chapters. Currently, he is an ad hoc reviewer for Neurosurgery and Epilepsia.
Dr. Bingaman remains dedicated to teaching and participates in the medical student Preceptor Program and has been named Neurosurgical Teacher of the Year three times in the past 10 years.
Dr. Bingaman maintains active research collaborations with Imad Najm and Damir Janigro, supplying human cortical tissue for a variety of epilepsy research projects.
He is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Epilepsy Society, the Ohio State Neurosurgical Society and the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies. Additionally, Dr. Bingaman has held leadership positions in several national neurosurgical organizations including the Executive Committee of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Past Chair of the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies, Board member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Board member of the American Neurosurgery Political Action Committee and Past President of the Ohio State Neurosurgical Society.

The doctor & his staff were wonderful to work with. They were very punctual and helpful when it came to making any medical decisions. He took his time talking to our family about all scenarios of the operation.

DR. Bingaman''s professional personality won both my wife and I over within minutes. He was thorough, informative ready to work with us. That is one thing that I want to stress he incorporated my wife a medical professional immediately putting her at ease with the surgery.

His assistants were VERY COURTEOUS AND INFORMED AND HELPFUL. DR. BINGAMAN WAS GREAT, HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS, HE WAS UNDERSTANDING AND WE FELT CONFIDENT IN HIM. IT''S NO WONDER EVERY ONE REQUESTS HIM.

Dr. Bingaman and his entire staff go out of their way to provide the best care for me. I have 100% confidence in their care for me as well as the clinic staff. I would also commend the exceptional I received by the nursing staff and care team (Leilla Demha, Paul Herbas, and their care team. Well Done!!

Dr Bingamin and his staff were very accommodating. His PA, Morgan, is very kind and caring and very knowledgeable. She was very prompt in scheduling tests and the MRI as soon as possible. I may have been in pain and s bit cranky but she was still very polite and kind. Dr Bingamin is exceptional. He listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions regarding my condition and scheduled the surgery to be performed as soon as possible. He is kind and considerate and you just feel you're in good hands in his care. His sense of humor during an office visit helps to put his patients at ease in his presence. I have already referred 2 of my friends to Dr Bingamin.
